So many similarities here with my practice! Definitely the body/chakra scan. Sometimes I literally go out under the moon and let her hold the heavy things with me. 😭🖤 Hilarious to hear about your water problems as that was me a year and a half ago 🤣 it followed me across two moves spanning three different houses/apts! Interesting too about perimenopause as the season of better tending to emotions. It makes perfect sense, as the flip on puberty, and I bet a lot of us come into this wisdom with this season 💜 Thank you for sharing. 💜
Great to hear from you, Autumn! I’m not surprised there are similarities with your work. Three seems to be the magic number with water problems- hopefully you’ve got it all resolved for now. I believe mine are, mostly because I committed to doing a specific daily practice for 21 days, but also because the maintenance guy was here. I think the combo is the magic remedy! I love the image of you outside sharing the burden with the moon. I usually go to Thor for the heavy lifting! 😉
I currently only have time to acknowledge just how much I enjoyed and could relate to many of your words Pamela. I often speak in analogies. I read recently this takes us very close to our experience. That’s pretty cool, yes. Anyway the image/analogy/felt experience of window shopping came up for me as I read your piece. I don’t currently feel I have the energy/resources to engage in some of the super ways of being/practising/thinking you talked about but I can look/take in/consider (shop this way) for now. Pretty cool again, yes. No dollars or in my case UK pounds spent. Priceless insights though of what there is to invest in. And some of the practices no financial out lay either. I hope I’m making sense btw. Thanks again. I enjoyed your post too Autumn. Hi from the UK. Love Lisa 🇬🇧🙋♀️
Hi Lisa! Thank you for the acknowledgment and sharing that you enjoyed and related. :) “Analogies take us very close to our experience.” Love this! I believe metaphors are the language of the soul. I think we’re both saying the same thing in a different way. And I love the window shopping analogy. A sort of observational period that might lead to trying things on but without jumping into commitment. Love to you, my friend. 🙋♀️
